this whole thread is such a cope lol the other two sports mentioned are roller derby and horseback riding
i wont touch those other two but as far as gymnastics goes women’s lower center of gravity makes it more accessible but it’s really not a sport and if it was it’s certainly not an ethical one. 99% of women will never ever be able to hold their own in competitive gymnastics in any meaningful way without a) having just been born with the ideal body type for the sport and b) training from childhood. its comparable to ballet. any man in decent shape could train on male gymnastics events and given enough time be able to do them
i think the person who argued that men so absolutely dominate sports due to sports being designed for men are mostly right but it’s not like you have to try. the physical attributes that women have that men don’t unfortunately aren’t really useful in any sport other than endurance running. the whole concept of a ‘sport’ is designed for men. why tf are you people having a slap fight trying to be included for that when IMO if you really care about women’s sports you’ll be more concerned about protecting title ix and women having equal opportunity to train (which imo IS a factor in the noticeable division between men and womens sports)
